Privacy policy
Last updated 2 October 2026.
This policy explains what personal data House Price Monitor collects, why, and your rights over it.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you subscribe, sign in or watch a street.
- The streets you watch, to send you an email when a home there sells.
- Whether you signed up for the monthly email. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
- The postcode area your report covers, such as “SW11”. We never ask for your full postcode or address.
- Your subscription status. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
- Basic server logs, for security and fixing faults.
- Anonymous visitor counts. These use no cookies and cannot identify you.
How we use it
Only to run the service: signing you in, sending your monthly report and the emails you ask for, taking payment and replying to you. We do not use your data for advertising and we never sell it.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary and is not used for tracking.
How long we keep it
Your account data and past reports are kept while you have an account. Server logs are deleted after a few weeks. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time from your account page. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing support@housepricemonitor.co.uk. We will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
